👋 Hey FB — I’m Cecile!

Since my logo + creative focus are evolving, I thought it was time to pop in and say hi! If you’ve been with me since my Austin days — hello again! 🤗 If you’re new here, welcome! I can’t wait to start filling my feed with beauty from my lens once more. 📸✨

A few fun facts about me:
1️⃣ ✝️ Child of God — My faith is my foundation. I try (and sometimes fail 😅) to spread His love in everything I do. Need a prayer? Msg me anytime. 🙏
2️⃣ 🎓 Graduated from Pepperdine University in just 3 years — still not sure why I rushed away from Malibu beach life! 🏖️
3️⃣ Born in Sài Gòn, and my life theme song is “Brown Eyed Girl.” My very first biz (in 1996!) was even called Brown Eyed Girl Personal Chef Service.👩🏻‍🍳
4️⃣ 🐶🐱 I used to be only a dog person, but now I’m also a crazy cat lady. Meet Mr. Tater Tot, my goofy Staffy, and Rory, my rescue tuxedo cat who plays fetch and drops her toy mouse on my face at 2am every morning! 😂
5️⃣ 👩‍👦‍👧 Proud mama to 2 amazing humans — a 16-year-old son and a 13-going-on-21 year-old “mini-me.” They keep me humble, joyful, and on my knees daily. 💕
6️⃣ 🍞 I dream of opening a cozy cafe + sourdough bakery someday… or maybe build a tiny cabin in Wyoming near a CDT trailhead where I can feed and pray for thru-hikers. (Dreaming big, napping often 😴).
7️⃣ 📷 Photographer at heart and by calling. My dear friend Leigh Ann Prewitt once reminded me I’ve always been behind the camera. I got my first pro camera in 2013 and haven’t looked back.

Eric Burton gave a soulful performance for an intimate get together at the W Hotel earlier this month as the Austin Music Awards committee members, led by Executive Producer Celeste Quesada and Musical Director Charlie Sexton, shared their final thoughts for what sounds like is going to be a night to remember benefiting the Sims Foundation.
