Any images or copies of images, computer files, or printed documentation relating to such images are protected by the Copyright and Design Act 1988. According to FEDERAL COPYRIGHT LAW, reproduction rights to a photograph remain with the photographer. Andrew Cooley Photography and Restoration respects and adheres to copyright laws to protect photographer's work. They can only be r
eproduced with their permission. Illegal reproduction may result in legal action by the photographer. We will not accept photos with copyright marks by an individual photographer or studio without written consent. Marks may include a logo, studio or photographer name, watermarked paper with "do not copy," or the copyright icon. It is the responsibility of the photographer to notify their clients of copyrighted material through these markings. By submitting photographs to me for restoration, you affirm that no copyright is infringed. Andrew Cooley Photography and Restoration will not be liable to you or any third party for such infringement, even if that loss or damage was foreseeable by, or the possibility of it was brought to the attention of me. “Andrew Cooley Photography and Restoration” may request the use of restored and retouched works to use as promotional work on our website and other promotional material, only once permission has been granted will the images be used. Images will be archived for 12 months in the event of a customer requiring further re-working. Media
Photos for retouching are attached in emails sent to me. I use the Gmail G Suite email account, one of the most secure forms of email communication available. For large files I use dropbox. Contact forms
I keep contact form submissions for a short period for customer service purposes, but I do not use the information submitted through them for any marketing purposes. Who I share your data with? I do not share your data with anybody, when I invoice you, I use Paypal or Venmo, I obviously need to use your email address to send the invoice. I use dropbox to send and receive large files. How long I retain your data? I keep the photo retouches for 12 months after completion of the works, this is to be able to resend lost or damaged final retouches when requested by my clients. I will never share any of your information with any advertising or data mining companies. What rights you have over your data? If you have sent me an email or sent photos, you are well within your rights to contact me and ask for me to delete emails, contact form inquiries as well as any photos you have sent me.
