I’ve known Nelly for 25 years.
She’s one of those friends who has been woven through so many seasons of life that it’s hard to remember a time before her. The kind of friendship that always feels like no time has passed even if it’s been months since we’ve talked. No small talk over here.
Earlier that day she was talking with her sister about maternity photos. I casually said, “I’ll take them if you want to do them tonight.”
Two hours later, after some convincing, a rushed outfit change, and getting Jay on board, we found ourselves in a field at sunset.
After years of so many prayers, hope and a very strong faith, these two are finally preparing to meet their rainbow baby!
Some stories deserve all the planning in the world.
And some stories are so beautiful they only need a couple hours notice. 🤍🌈
