Since I had unofficially “closed” my little business, I’ve still been getting inquiries to which I am flattered. ❤️ I even had an inquiry about a photo shoot as recent as last week that I turned down. There just comes a point after you’ve done something a long, long time that you have to say, hey it’s my time and I think it’s enough. Components of this decision include burnout, loss of passion and creativity for the art ,physical back issues and I got sick each time right when I had two “big” shoots scheduled.😳I’ve heard my brother in law say before as a minister “I’d rather leave and you wanting me to stay, than stay and you wanting me to leave”.❤️ You may see a few images show up occasionally of a family member or a close friend but I’m not doing the photography thing as a business anymore. Thank you once again to all who chose me to capture your sweet memories through the years. You have no idea how much your business has meant to me over the years. I, myself have many memories to cherish.🫶🏻

My little side hustle photography business has been a blessing over the years. I’ve had some slow years and I’ve had some super busy years. You live and learn, as they say and always things you would do differently. I tried to keep pricing down and often shorting myself and should have collected deposits so folks aren’t apt to just not show up and cancel last minute and such and all that goes with running a business, good and bad but all in all it’s be good and most clients have been amazing to work with. I’ve met some awesome folks through photography and I’ve been honored to photograph people who’ve held public office, amazing events, gorgeous weddings, beautiful families, numerous sports and band portraits and some sessions that were some of the last photographs of loved ones who passed not long after.❤️ Some of your best and most loyal clients sometimes end up being what you would have thought in your mind the most unlikely.🥰 It’s no secret that sports and band were my moneymakers and I was blessed to have photographed more of these sessions that I could ever imagined.🥰🏈🏀⚽️⚾️🏐🎷🎺 With all that being said, I think it’s time to step away (for the most part). I photographed my last wedding in 2022 and there’s been indications the past bit that’s it’s just time, I think it has “peaked” for me and my “time” has came and gone. My photography passion is not what it once was and you know it’s time when it’s more of a drudgery than a joy to drag the camera out, head out to a shoot and then edit. I’m not saying I’ll never do another session and I’m sure I’ll still do some family stuff but for now I’m backing off. It’s been a good run and thanks for all the memories.❤️✌🏻

In loving memory of Mrs. Nancy Kiper💛

I had the honor of photographing this beautiful family the end of July and got to take part in their sweet surprise 50th anniversary party. I was shocked and saddened to hear that Mrs. Nancy passed away unexpectedly this past Friday night or Saturday morning. I am so glad I got to do this photo shoot for them. Please join me in praying for her family.💛🙏🏻
