I am really just not okay with how fast summer went by. It happens every year. I make a post like this routinely every September, but it feels like summer just goes by faster as I get older.

& I hate that I'm typing this but this was my last summer in my 20's.....YUCK.

They weren't kidding when they said "wait until you're older you'll be begging for time to slow down." They were right.. I don't even know who "they" is because I heard that from so many people. BUT, I'm gonna leave this caption as is before I continue ranting and end up having a quarter life crisis 😅

Closing this chapter of HRP. 🤍

This is such a bittersweet moment. This decision was tossed back and forth so many times. Did I want to let this go? Did I want to find a different space? I even toured a few studios closer to home.

But ultimately, I decided to choose gratitude.

I’m choosing to be grateful for the leap I took and the space I was able to build and hold onto for the last year and a half. I’m grateful for every memory, every session, every conversation, and every person who walked through these doors.

But this season of life is calling me to slow down. And this time, I’m choosing to listen.

Thank you to every single person who walked through my studio doors. You are what made this space so special, and I’ve genuinely loved every moment of it. 🤍

And while closing this chapter is bittersweet, I’m also really looking forward to having one less thing on my plate and making a little more room for the things that matter most right now.

Here’s to closing one chapter with gratitude and making space for whatever comes next. 🤍

Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting.

I’ve been looking at this recent season of life as a sign to slow down. Maybe God was reminding me that the timing wasn’t right. Maybe I wasn’t ready. Maybe I needed to be forced to pause because I wasn’t going to do it on my own.

I’ve spent so much time trying to balance everything. My 9–5, my photography business, my studio, my marriage, my family, friendships, and all of the little things that come with everyday life.

And I know, I know… there are people out there who manage far more than I do. But the truth is, I've been telling myself for a while now, this was too much for me personally.

So I’m taking this as my sign to slow down in several areas of my life.
Not because I’m giving up. Not because I don’t love what I’ve built. But because I’m realizing that I don’t want to build a life that I’m too busy to actually enjoy.

Some things are going to look a little different moving forward, and I have some announcements coming soon that will reflect that.

For once, I’m choosing to make room for myself, too. 🤍

These two get married TODAY!! 💍🤍

A huge shoutout to & for stepping in and covering their day for me! I’m so incredibly grateful to have such talented photographers representing Hallie Renee Photography while I am out recovering 🫶🏼

I am so, so bummed that I can’t be there in person to celebrate with these two, but I know they are in the best hands! And while I may not get to experience their day in person, I’m SO excited to relive every little moment through the editing process. 🥹📸

Sydney and Nikolai have been together since they were 14-15 years old. I have watched their relationship blossom in SO many stages of life. This one is my absolute favorite so far. I can't wait to watch these two welcome their baby boy into the world in just a few short weeks. ⁠
