Nikki came to me wanting to do a portrait session but asked me what creative ideas I was dying to do!! I told her I really wanted to shoot with an old car and just so happens she knew someone. I was like is this a dream or what?! She trusted my vision and together we made some beautiful art. Getting to work with people like this makes my creative heart so happy!

I’ve been shooting soooo many extended family sessions I figured it’s about time for me to share one on my feed. Extended family sessions are a little bit of everything! I love to start the session off with taking all the perfectly posed smiling photos and then the last 30 minutes are spent letting everyone play around and having fun. Every single extended family session looks so different and I love that! One thing though is we always have a good time.

These two were so full of giggles during their maternity session and I loved it! I will often give you prompts that will make you laugh and giggle but I will never ask you to fake laugh for a shot. Genuine emotions are what we are going for!

I thought maybe I should share a couple things about me, cause why not?
I am Lewes, Delaware born and raised! I was born at Beebe hospital and I now live about 10 minutes from there. I always say- I never made it very far!😂
I am a true entrepreneur at heart. Before being a photographer I owned my own lash extension business. I LOVE working for myself and I will definitely be doing it for the rest of my life.
My wife and I will be married for THREE years in August!! It’s crazy how time flies. We eloped to Oregon and got married under a waterfall with our dream photographer. It’s one of the best memories I have!
I am a Capricorn and that explains a lot about me. I LOVE to work, it really makes me so happy. I’m incredibly loyal, almost to a fault.🙃 And of course in true Capricorn fashion, I am very stubborn.

This family was so fun to document. I really tried to let their sweet little girl lead the session. Because that’s what I’m there to capture anyways, their life and how they have fun. We played with pine cones in the sand, got chased by sooo many horseshoe crabs, road on dads shoulders like a horsey, and (basically) swam in the water. You can really feel the love they all have for each other through these photos!
