At the very end of my stroll.. I was looking down the canal one last time at the water reflections… I heard a very vocal bird to my left.... I glanced down at the floating dock, and saw a Belted Kingfisher had joined me.... he was a good distance away...

What a great weekend at Shore Marketplace....funny how things work.... sold this 24x30 Harbor of Refuge.... just after selling a smaller... same print on Fri..... also sold my 12x36 Sanderling Reflections at the Point....on Friday... and a smaller.. same print on Saturday....
Pillows, calendars... ornaments... and other canvas prints as well.... happy dances were happening.... thank you to all of those that shop & support my small biz 🛍️🤘🏼
Love this memory from last yr in the city...... Started a sister's trip to NYC on the 1st Friday in December with my 3 sister's... many , many yrs ago.... such a fun tradition.... then as our kids grew up they have joined in for the fun.... take the train & spend the day doing our thing.... all in one day....
This yr we decided to skip the city.... not to live in a bubble , as we have been on some unsettling yrs.... but the cities have a lot going on.... so we are headed to enjoy Longwood Gardens this Friday... we haven't been there for the Christmas display since we were all kids ✨🎄✨ can't wait to get some pretty pics...

Happy Friday .... started my morning off early at 7am ... filling in some "empty spaces ".... love that..... just in time for 3 new birds to fly in....

She recognized me and was so excited to meet in person.....wanted to get a picture together.... I said but of course...... her hubby snapped a few for us both...... she lives out of state but shops out market.... has a few lighthouse prints.... made my day just as much as hers🩵🩵

Tomorrow( my 1st day off in 7 days 66hrs later) is going to be a "need to rise early " day ... and head into my shop at Shore Marketplace...
My newest print creations arrived... sneak peak.. 1 of 3... prints are in an "artistic" edit... and I just love them all...
Calendar order arrived... will be on the shelf... ornament refill.... wall refresh and picking up a big pillow order .... and will be stocked Saturday....
Need to buy our Christmas tree w/ my daughter .. before the rain.... hit the big fresh from Maine lobster sale (finally off on sale day) at the marina in Lewes... Christmas parade Saturday.... get in the jolly mood to do some decorating ..... oh and rest!! Haha rest??? My momma always said that word was not in my vocabulary... rest is for the weery........ I can rest in January

Busy Busy...... working on a project for a client..... They are looking for blank "Thank You" cards from all of the nearby towns .... to send to their clients... love to partner w/ local businesses...
I like to share projects like these to remind of the extra printing items that I offer..... I used to carry many notecards in my shop at Shore Marketplace..... but we have a talented artist that does beautiful cards of her paintings so I backed off of in shop selling.... Special orders for notecards do happen often.... and I just work with you to fill the images you have in mind..... trying to finalize this 350+card order.... hard to pick from so many images.... but this makes my job creative✨🩵🤘🏼

Any full moon within the month of November is called a Beaver Moon. According to The Old Farmer's Almanac this is because it coincides with the time of year that beavers take shelter.

So exited.... just got home from work... and saw a box on the porch...... yay..... 1st order has arrived..... will have a few unclaimed after orders are filled..... will post when I see what I have left... I will be ordering every few wks so lots of time to get on list..... quanities will be limited in my shop Shore Marketplace.... due to costs so special order is recommended.... can't beliveve it is "Calendar Season" already....
