The older I get, the less interest I have in conversations centered around judging other people.

You know the ones.

The gossip.
The criticism.
The endless commentary.

Exhausting, right?

The next time it happens, instead of agreeing or adding fuel to the fire, try simply walking away.

I know.
It’s awkward.
It’s uncomfortable.
For some, it may even feel completely foreign.

When you find yourself in these situations, remind yourself that all you need to do is love yourself enough not to be threatened by someone else.

It’s really that easy.

In fact, moments like these can be valuable opportunities for self-reflection. What triggers us often points us toward the parts of ourselves that still need healing.

A lot of hurt people end up hurting others.

Do yourself a favor... go touch some grass.

And heal.

*Image totally not connected to this post per se. However, Meredith DeLuca is looking pretty damn confident here.

I read something the other day that said ADHD is a superpower.

I can relate to parts of that statement, but I don’t feel the need to label it with a diagnosis.

This is just me.
The way I was created.

I do, in fact, have some traits that have been criticized over the years. Things I’ve tried to “fix” or “change.”

But eventually, I stopped fighting them and started leaning into them.

“You’re too emotional.”

Yep. I am.

I cry easily. Hard conversations, frustration, sickness, sadness, Disney movies, heartwarming commercials… pass the tissues.

But that same emotional depth is what allows my clients to feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

“You interrogate people.”

Also true.

I ask questions because I want to understand. To dig deeper. To learn. To connect. To support.

Surface-level conversations have never been my thing.

When prepping for a session, I ask the questions that help me uncover someone’s story and how they want to be seen. Those conversations allow me to create images that feel personal, authentic, and meaningful.

“You overthink.”

Guilty.

But that overthinking helps me find solutions, anticipate problems, improve processes, and create better experiences.

It’s a big part of why I’ve built a photography experience that feels unlike anyone else’s.

“You’re too sensitive.”

It’s meeeeeeeeee!

I feel things deeply.

But that sensitivity helps me connect with people, understand perspectives different from my own, and create a space where others feel safe enough to let their guard down.

“You’re unfocused.”

Or maybe my brain is simply full of ideas.

Ideas are constantly sparking. New possibilities. Better ways of doing things. Creative solutions. Unexpected inspiration.

I’m energized by curiosity and new experiences, and that keeps my work fresh, evolving, and creative.

The things that make me different are the things that make me, me.

My hope is that you can find the extraordinary in your so-called shortcomings, too.

Two incredible dancers and even more incredible sisters.

Both bringing their own kind of beauty, strength, and presence into this moment.

There’s something powerful about watching that connection come through in an image like this.

A funny thing happens when a woman starts making herself a priority.

She becomes a better version of herself.

More confident.
More present.
More connected to who she is.

And that doesn’t just impact her. It impacts everyone she loves.

Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish. It’s one of the best gifts you can give yourself and the people around you.

A great headshot does more than show people what you look like.

It shows confidence.
It shows presence.
It tells a story before you ever walk into the room.

For models and pageant contestants, that’s everything.

Let’s create images that are as memorable as you are.

Sometimes the woman who helps you find your confidence again is the one who had to rebuild her own.

She knows the heartbreak.
She understands the uncertainty.
And she knows what’s possible on the other side.

Because sometimes the most powerful thing a woman can say is, “I see you”

Some women were never meant to blend in.

They were made to shine bright like a diamond — resilient under pressure, radiant in their presence, and impossible to ignore.

Not because life was easy.
But because they kept glowing through every challenge, every lesson, and every season that tried to dim their light.

Elegant. Regal. Unapologetically powerful. 👑

She isn’t just wearing a crown.

She’s wearing every lesson, every sacrifice, every late night, every moment she doubted herself and kept going anyway.

Elegant. Regal. Strong.

A title may place the crown on her head, but her character is what truly makes her a queen. ✨
