A House Built on Yes — the story of one Woman's struggle and her efforts to save lives.

Some stories unfold in small acts of courage, in quiet obedience, in the decision to say yes when it would be easier to stay comfortable.

Writing this reminded me that the strongest foundations aren’t always visible — they’re built in faith, in community, and in the moments that reshape us when no one else is looking.

I recently shared a new story on Substack, and this one is special.

I spent time with my friend Ben Fournier of Schooner Estates Memory Care.

Ben is someon who shows up for people without needing any spotlight. His story isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being present, about meeting people exactly where they are and loving them in that space.

Writing this reminded me why I love photographing people in the first place—because it’s never just about a picture. It’s about who they are, what they give to the world.

What does work look like to you?

For me, it’s about more than laptops and coffee cups—it’s about capturing the heart of a business. The people. The passion. The story behind it all.

These are a few of my favorite shots from a recent Business Profile session with social media manager, Michaela Rines ( ). Michaela spends so much of her time working behind the scenes, creating magic for other businesses, that she rarely gets to be seen herself. This session was all about changing that—putting a face to the incredible work she does every single day.

We started outdoors to soak up those last late-summer/early-fall vibes, then headed inside to to capture some cozy, candid moments. The goal? To tell her story in a way that feels authentic, warm, and uniquely her.

Because behind every brand, there’s a person. And every person has a story worth telling.
