Looking for a couple that would love a chance to redo their wedding portraits (bride and groom only) or that didn’t get photos that has/willing to rent wardrobe.
I am looking for something VERY specific, for a specific look/location. You MUST be comfortable in front of the camera. The only cost involved is location rental, and professional hair and make up. If you are interested, please comment a photo of you and your husband and I will reach out with more details if interested!

Let’s chat. 🤍

Sometimes potential clients are surprised when they inquire with me and find out that booking doesn’t look like simply sending me a Cash App to “hold a spot,” or showing up with cash on the day of their session.

And honestly, I understand it. There are plenty of people offering photography in a lot of different ways, so I want to take a minute to explain why I do things differently.

I am running a business , not a hobby.

When you book with me, you receive a proper booking link, contract, questionnaire, session preparation, communication, and an entire experience that I have intentionally built my business around. There are systems and policies in place to protect both you and me.

When a session can require me to spend hundreds of dollars upfront, accepting a simple payment with no commitment or contract puts my business at a huge risk. That’s why I require my booking process to be followed every time.

And my job doesn’t end when I leave your session.

There is still culling, editing, hand-editing, gallery preparation, uploading, communication, and all of the behind-the-scenes work that goes into delivering your final images. I pride myself on a quick turnaround because, to me, your experience, and my job isn’t complete until you’ve actually received your gallery.

I also believe in grace. Life happens. Kids get sick. Emergencies happen. Things come up. I am incredibly thankful for clients who extend patience and understanding when life happens, and I will always do my best to extend that same grace to my clients.

But when you book with me, I make a promise to treat your time and your investment with respect. I don’t want you wondering if I’ll be on time, if your session will constantly be rescheduled, or if you’ll actually receive what you paid for.

I carry my business with grace, but I also carry it with professionalism.

And I think this is especially important to say because the photography world is becoming increasingly saturated with “the next person with a camera.”

And listen, we were all there at one point. Everyone starts somewhere. I started somewhere, too. There is absolutely room for photographers at different experience levels, different price points, and different budgets.

But someone offering a $50 session on Facebook because they can charge $50 is not necessarily offering the same thing as someone running a fully established photography business.

And that’s okay.

Different doesn’t mean better or worse. It means different.

You can’t compare a $50 shoot to a photographer whose pricing accounts for business insurance, equipment, software, studio expenses, props, education, taxes, contracts, client management systems, editing time, gallery delivery, business expenses, and all of the other costs that come with operating professionally.

Everyone has a different budget, and I will never judge someone for choosing the photographer that works best for their budget. There is room for all of us.

But please don’t compare two completely different business models as though the only difference is the number on the price tag.

When you book with me, you’re not just paying for someone to take pictures.

You’re investing in my time, my experience, my equipment, my creativity, my preparation, my business, my editing, my professionalism, and the entire experience from inquiry to gallery delivery.

I will always love getting to know my clients beyond a strictly professional level. I love building relationships, watching families grow, celebrating milestones, and becoming someone my clients can trust.

But when it comes to my business?

It will remain as professional as I know how to make it.

The policies, contracts, retainers, booking systems, questionnaires, communication, pricing, and processes are all intentional.

They’re not there to make things difficult.

They’re there because I care about doing this the right way. 🤍
