wanted to take this opportunity to dial back and reflect for a minute on who we are here at Media Unlocked.

Our Mission Statement is to be an endless open resource to media enthusiasts everywhere. Regardless of your experience, we want to provide you with the tools and the knowledge to better yourself as a camera user. We also want to provide you with information on new equipment and give you detailed product reviews so you can understand more about a product before you buy it. We want to reach out to p

eople of all backgrounds; from a hobbyist, to someone developing a business, and even to the pro veterans who have been doing this for years. We try to gauge our posts, videos, and information to benefit all skill levels. We want you to understand the top of the line cameras and compare them to the cameras you have now. Understanding the limitations and advantages between camera bodies is vital when developing your photo or video business. We take photography and video very seriously here at Media Unlocked. It is our responsibility to equip photographers and videographers to capture the best images with the best representation that we can. It is an art form in one small aspect but the bigger picture is capturing life. Life could be defined as your life, your friends and family. Life could be your business, landscapes, or other peoples lives. Whatever life you put in front of your camera is your perspective of the world. When you freeze time for that single frame or you hold on to it for a moment with video, that is you telling your story. I have heard stories of people buying $3,000 worth of camera equipment and not being able to get the shot they want. At the end of the day, I believe that a nice camera is only as good as the operator. For me, you can buy all the nice cameras, nice lenses, and nice accessories; but your pictures will only be as good as your understanding of the medium. Don’t get me wrong–some cameras are physically unable to get images others can and thats okay. But good composition, framing, understanding of light and the use of color and shape, are all elements that are not connected to the camera. They are connected to us. They are ultimately and directly connected to the moment you are capturing; the frame in which you combine all these elements and freeze them in your camera forever. As the moments of the world pass us by, cameras are here for us to keep them and cherish them. That is what we do here at Media Unlocked. We take the information that is out there and put it in ways that you can understand. We push the knowledge boundaries and strive for excellence through understanding.
