Salt air, golden light, and two people promising forever at the water's edge. Madison and Zack's day ended with the whole wedding party sitting on the dock like it was summer camp — and honestly, that's exactly the energy a wedding should have. Where are you dreaming of saying "I do"?

From the archives: the moment the groomsmen decided Matt needed to fly. Some weddings are quiet and candlelit. This one was pure joy with the volume turned all the way up — and we loved every second of it. What's the most fun thing that happened at a wedding you've been to?

Booking a photographer is one of the few wedding decisions you can't redo — the flowers fade, the cake gets eaten, but the photos are what you keep. Here are the five questions we think every couple should ask before signing with anyone (including us — seriously, ask us these). Save this for your planning, and drop any question of your own in the comments. We'll answer honestly.

"From the engagement session all the way through the wedding day, you both made the entire process completely stress-free... We would recommend Michael Bean Photography a million times over." Reviews like this one from Chase are the reason we do this. Being trusted with someone's wedding day never stops feeling like an honor. Thank you, Chase & Kinsley — your day was a dream to photograph.

Sundays are for slowing down. For us, that usually means a quiet morning with coffee before we dive back into editing — sitting with the photos from the last wedding and noticing all the small things that happened in between the big moments. It's easy to get caught up in the schedule, the timeline, the next thing on the list. But some of our favorite parts of this job are the ones nobody plans for: a dad fixing his tie in the mirror, a flower girl falling asleep before the reception even starts, a couple sneaking five quiet minutes alone just to breathe. Whatever your Sunday looks like, we hope there's a little room in it to slow down too. What's your favorite way to spend a quiet Sunday?

If you could press rewind and relive just five minutes of your wedding day, which five would you pick? Maybe it's the moment right before you walked down the aisle, the first dance, or some quiet second nobody else even noticed. We love asking this one because the answers are almost never the "big" moments. Tell us yours below.

There are weddings, and then there are weddings where the flower girl has four legs and very long ears. This whole day was golden — wildflowers, sage green, and two people who couldn't stop laughing long enough for us to pose them. Good thing we never wanted to. Tell us the truth: would you have a donkey in your wedding party?

Ever wonder why photographers get weirdly excited about sunset? That last hour of light is soft, warm, and flattering on absolutely everyone — no harsh shadows, no squinting. It's why we build your timeline around it, down to the minute. Swipe through for how we plan around the light and ask us anything about timing your day.

Brooke & Justin

From the happy tears to the packed dance floor, their wedding day was full of the moments that matter most.

It was an honor to capture their story and create a film they can relive for years to come. Congratulations again, Brooke & Justin!

Turn up the volume and enjoy a glimpse into their incredible day.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted… but I couldn’t keep this one to myself. Social media just isn't my thing.

Finally getting to share this bridal session and WOW… she absolutely brought it.
Elegant, confident, and completely her.

I still have a backlog of weddings and engagements I have yet to share, so hopefully I will get to those soon.
