My style blends candid energy with storytelling, giving you photos that show what it felt like. My name is Sarah House. My friends call me Cat for short because my middle name is Catherine. Not to mention the fact that I’m an avid cat person, too. I grew up in London, Kentucky and moved to Lexington, Kentucky to attend the University of Kentucky in 2006. I studied Merchandising and worked retail w

hile pursing photography in my leisure time. I was able to develop my skills in composition and light through my degree and various business environments. My attention to detail and artistic abilities came naturally and I was able to play around and experiment with that in my photography. I’m always trying to find creative ways to express my clients in my photos. It’s not only about self-expression and showing the world your perception, but evoking an emotion and telling a story. Laughing. I find humor in just about anything. You can’t live your entire life being serious all the time because where’s the fun in that? Traveling. I’m a wanderluster at heart. I try to capture that in my photos when I travel, whether it’s to another music festival on my to-do list or family trips adventuring out west. Meeting new people and learning new things.
