A sheriff's writ from 1703. An Indian Police belt with a holster, gunpowder flask, and bullet tool. These are among the real artifacts you'll find in the National Law Enforcement Museum's Preserving Democracy exhibit, sponsored exclusively by GALLS.

The oldest object in the Museum's collection is over 320 years old. It's a document, yes. But it's also a record of someone doing the job when this country was just getting started.
