Initially working from Cincinnati, Ohio Dave travels extensively for Procter & Gamble as well as working in their in-house photo studio. Also front he base city of Cincinnati Dave worked with several Sport magazines covering the major sports teams. Taking a new direction Dave accepted the supervisory position of the PhotoResources Department at the Athens,Ohio College of Osteopathy. Here he worked
with the internal and external public relations departments on recruitment publications. Location shoots through out the state of Ohio were common as well as on the OU campus. In addition to the photojournalistic assignments - he also developed the skill set of a bio-medical photographer. Returning to commercial photography Dave took on the Supervisor role in Louisville, KY for a large 60K sq. commercial studio. Mentoring the team of photographers developing the studio to achieve higher standards and services to the client base. It was at this assignment that Dave worked for Churchill Downs, Inc. as the "official photographer" for the Kentucky Derby. Leading a team of 27 photographers Dave revamped the manner in which the Derby was covered and set a new standard of accomplishing the many assignments cumulating in the best known 2 minutes of sports. Dave returned to a sole-proprietorship with corporate accounts Brown-Forman, YUM! Brands, Jewish Hospital as well as the smaller, but no less important day to day assignments working and helping agencies and owners tell their story.
