Although these are the gray matted versions of the photos we took at the recent DarkestGoth Magazine's Cirque De Monstres Shoot, this just goes to show how versatile green screen truly is. It can not only provide you with a way to put your images in front of any background, but it can also allow you to use it for more professional purposes with a few desaturation tricks. (Special thanks to Katey Rosewater, Raven Moonlight - Alt Model, Cody Mekale, Joshua Latiolais, Shane Jensen, and many others who helped make this event a success!)

While you don't have to credit public domain images, we wanted to share where we got these from, because they do a great job over there!

For ideal use, you'll want to alter the focal distance of these backgrounds to blend them in with your model photos. Richard Harrington has a great tutorial video on how to do this in photoshop at:

These are some of the different models we've photographed at our different events.

These are shared so that people exploring green screen can try their hand at compositing. These images are released with a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-Sharealike (BY-NC-SA) 3.0 license, which essentially means you can use these to create your own art, but you need to credit the photographer and model appropriately whenever you post it.

If you do come up with a cool composite, we'd love it if you'd post it to this page! We'll add it to our upcoming gallery of user submitted creations!
