What an unbelievable honor it was to be part of Carlos + Dionna’s day. Countless “who would have said” details led up to this moment. Their story has been so intricately penned by our Creator, and gracious, what a joy it was to witness the beginning of their forever. What a powerhouse couple, so completely on fire for making Jesus known to everyone around them.

Let’s not forget to mention the GIFT of a dreamlike day with 70° sunshine, wide-open Indiana fields, clear blue skies, and so much pure joy surrounding these two.

And man, who would have said I’d have the privilege of capturing my college roommate’s wedding day all these years later. So much love, respect, and admiration for you, my dear, dear friend. What a gift it was to be there. 🤍

Completely swooning over Dylan and Sydney‘s engagement session. Gentle morning light, perfect late summer blooms, a sweet fluffy little puppy, and undeniable chemistry. Yes PLEASE.

Kayla & Mason’s wedding felt like stepping straight into a fairy garden dream. Delicate blooms in every color, citrus-lined tables, candlelight, and whimsical details came together in a way that was effortlessly beautiful and completely unique.

But what made the day unforgettable wasn’t just the design. It was them. Lighthearted, easygoing, and absolutely full of joy, Kayla and Mason spent the day laughing together, soaking in every moment, and celebrating alongside the people who know and love them best. Their intimate gathering felt less like an event and more like a warm embrace from family and friends.

And honestly, if this wedding isn’t straight off your Pinterest board, I don’t know what is. ✨🍊🌸

Catch up time…where to even begin?!

I’ll tell you this for free: There’s something incredibly special about newborn sessions. 🤍

The tiny details, the sleepy snuggles, the way a family is getting to know their newest little love…these are moments that pass far too quickly.

I never take for granted the privilege of being welcomed into your home during such a tender season. To be invited into those first days of life, to witness the love, joy, and quiet beauty of a growing family, is truly an honor.

That privilege was no different as I spent the morning with Allie and Ben, alongside their cuddly fur babies, celebrating the arrival of sweet Camille. 🎀 It was a joy to document this new chapter for their family and preserve some of the quiet, meaningful moments that make these early days so special.

I’ve been a little quiet around here lately.

Over the past several months, I’ve intentionally stepped back from posting so I could focus on what matters most in this season, which is being present with my family and shepherding my girlies toward Jesus as we navigate our homeschooling days together.

While photography is a profession I genuinely love, these years with my kids are a gift I don’t want to rush through.

That said, the Lord has been teaching me quite a bit about priorities and stewardship in this season. As I continue to settle into our homeschool rhythm, I’m finding ways to make space for both my family and the work I love, and I’m excited to start sharing more here again.

And the good news? I have so many beautiful sessions and memories to catch up on and share with you. Thank you for sticking around while I took the time I needed for my family. I’m looking forward to reconnecting and sharing all that’s been happening behind the scenes.

The Padgetts 💫

John and Kaylee’s October wedding was the kind of day that quietly takes your breath away. The light was soft, the air crisp, and every detail thoughtfully chosen. Their entire day was filled with sincerity, and you could sense the calm joy between two people completely at ease together.

Every moment felt grounded and real, surrounded by family, laughter, and the warmth of fall. What a joy to document a day so full of heart and intention.

Okkk but how can I pick a FAVORITE?! 🥹 Spent the sweetest evening with John + Kaylee capturing their engagement session. From strolling through the gardens to twirling under the trees to laying in the grass just soaking it all in… their love is effortless, playful, and so fun to witness.

Can’t wait for October — it’s been a long time coming! 🌱

No snow storm could have kept this day from happening! Andrew and Nina have a genuine, Christ-centered kind of love that has been incredibly sweet to see. This day was a testament to that wholeness in their lives and love their people have for them was the cherry on top. What a gift!
