Dear Clients, Friends, and Family,

It has been quite some time since I last posted and I wanted to take this opportunity to provide you with an update on the recent happenings at Southern Native Photography.

First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude to each and every one of you who has supported me throughout the years. Your trust and loyalty have been invaluable, and I am truly honored to have been a part of your special moments.

Looking back, 2020 was an unforgettable year, and not just because of the challenging pandemic we all faced. Despite the uncertainty and fear, it turned out to be the busiest years for Southern Native Photography, with a total of 45 weddings captured. The following year, 2021, brought its own set of unique circumstances, as many weddings had to be rescheduled. Nonetheless, I strived to accommodate everyone's needs and returned or transferred down payments for canceled events. My intention was always to be understanding and supportive of each couple's situation. However, in my eagerness to ensure everyone's happiness, I must admit that I overextended myself and my business during those two years. I took on more than I should have. This resulted in challenges such as delayed gallery deliveries, inadequate communication, and an inability to provide the exceptional experiences I desire for my clients.

The year 2021 was especially challenging for me on an emotional level, and it was during this time that I made the decision to scale back in 2022. Little did I know that life had its own plans for me, as I soon discovered that I was expecting a baby. This unexpected but joyous news compelled me to reevaluate how I operate my business, with a renewed focus on achieving a healthier work-life balance.

Since then, I have been diligently working on a comprehensive plan to revitalize Southern Native Photography. My aim is to reinvent the way I run my business, ensuring an unforgettable client experience while also prioritizing my own well-being as the sole owner.

As we enter the second half of 2023, my primary focus will be on my new family and laying a solid foundation for the future growth of my business in 2024 and beyond.

I wanted to take this moment to express my deep appreciation for your unwavering support and understanding throughout this journey. Each one of you has played a significant role in shaping the success of Southern Native Photography, and I am truly grateful for the trust you have placed in me. I am striving to do better.

Please stay tuned for updates as I embark on this new chapter. Exciting changes are on the horizon, and I am eager to share them with you.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being a part of my photography journey and for allowing me to be a part of yours. It’s a dream come true and an opportunity I could’ve only imagined in my wildest dreams.

I had the honor and privilege of shooting 10 Wyoming weddings in 2021, 8 of them were in Jackson Hole.

Jackson has become one of my favorite locations to shoot. I've learned the ins/outs and ALL the best things to do for your dream Jackson wedding to be just that.

If you're considering eloping or saying "I DO" in Wyoming in 2022/2023 reach out and let's create magic!

While I'm a nationwide photographer, Kentucky, Tennessee and Wyoming are NOT considered destinations for me they get regular packaging!

That’s a wrap on 2021 weddings.

Over the past year, I’ve traveled across the country from the furthest part of the west coast to the tip of the east coast.

I’ve flown over 50 times.

Officially been to 48 states (only Alaska and Hawaii left)

Photographed weddings in 13 different states.

Watched over 35 couples get married across the US.

All while learning how to navigate life during a pandemic living in under 350 Square Feet.

My business is going through a big transition in 2022 and I’m excited to share everything with you soon.

Thank you for the most memorable year yet. I am SO grateful for each and every one of you that has poured support and love into my business.

The fruit this year has been so sweet and I’m still shocked I get to do this job.

If you need me, I’ll be trying to upload all of these galleries in time for the holidays. Send emotional support and coffee plz. ✨
