I wasn't sure when the best time would be to make an announcement, but I guess sooner than later is the best route to go. If you are seeing this, please take the time to read it.
I have been in business for 10 years, met so many amazing people & captured so many wonderful memories....
Over 600 sessions ranging from newborn to generations. I had the opportunity to shoot a youth basketball league. And was given the unofficial title of being a school's photographer doing spring portraits, the yearbook, and so many more special occasions for 5+ years. So much to be proud of, and thankful for!
I am self taught to be the "simple photographer" that you could afford to book multiple times a year. I put passion into each and every job I had, laughed a lot, acted a fool to get that perfect smile, talked way too much, and stretched my ideas beyond what I thought I could. For those that worked with me only once, or multiple times, I truly hope you saw this.
Here's the tough part...
After long discussions with my husband and family, I have decided to shut down "Amy Ranson Photography".
(those that are booked for the next few months- don't panic, keep reading)
This decision was very difficult, and very heavy on my heart. But, I have decided it is time to hang up my camera straps and concentrate on my family and other business that I run. Each and every one of you have been a blessing to me and this journey! Thank you all so much for entrusting me to capture some of your most cherished memories.
Now, for those that are on the books:
Your sessions are still happening! I do ask that if you have any symptoms/ been around anyone with Covid/ or have had Covid or any other illness close to your session that you communicate that with me. I'm not taking any new clients after the Christmas sessions in November. Senior Reps will still have spring sessions.
Due to rising Covid cases, I will be making decisions regarding Christmas sessions in mid October (props/if still on) Both my client's and my own health is my priority. For those booked for Christmas (or would like to) please keep an eye on the post on my page with booking information; that's where any announcements will be made.
