When I look back on my photography journey, there are a handful of families who shaped me in ways I’ll never forget — and this family is one of them. I still remember the day they stepped out of the car for their very first session… I didn’t know much about my camera, or my style, or where this path would take me. But I knew instantly that moments like theirs were the reason I wanted to be a photographer.

They trusted me with their most sacred chapters long before I found consistency and confidence. Through seasons of hot sun, freezing winds, balloons flying, toddlers crying, and years that passed quicker than any of us expected — they stayed. And their loyalty has meant more than I could ever put into words.

To the families who have walked with me from the early days… you hold such a soft place in my heart. Please know I will always hold space for yours. Somewhere along the way, many of you became more than clients — you became part of my story. I’ve witnessed your milestones, your triumphs, your heartbreaks, your babies growing, your joy, your love, your strength. We’ve laughed through golden sunsets, wandered fields on the edge of new seasons, and created memories I’ll treasure forever.

Thank you for trusting me, for growing with me, and for letting me see your hearts — year after year. It has been one of the greatest gifts of my life.

This is us — a season that is both fun and full. We’re racing from one field to the next, juggling practices, games, and all the little moments in between. With every blink, they’re taller, older, not quite so small. It’s exhausting and sacred all at once, and my heart aches at how quickly it’s slipping by. Every day and night, I thank God for this little family and the gift of living this life with them.
