“The Goddess Luna draws the veil across the world as colors pale. Her glowing face reflects the light and pulls the stars into the night.” Epic Universe became more epic as the sun went down and the lights came up! I could have spent all night capturing all of that spectacular illumination!

Six years ago this month I captured this foggy aerial of Limington Rapids and the S**o River. I always love this time of year when the cool mornings aid in creating some of that moody fog! Time to start thinking of some more areas to visit on these upcoming cool mornings!

Spectacle Ponds, Porter. Back in July I was introduced to these two unique ponds from an old post card post from Echoes Of Dirigo. As luck would have it, it was in close proximity to Stanley Pond, so I though why not capture these ponds from above as well! The first frame I captured was to reproduce the angle, as best as possible, of the post card I first learned of these ponds. While there I decided to explore a bit and capture them both almost fully from a different perspective. Just like Stanley Pond, I will definitely be making a return trip by these gems too!

So yesterday I decided to head off to Hiram to capture some aerials of a couple of ponds which were brought to my attention recently. A while back I chose one of those ponds, Stanley Pond, as a possible candidate for some aerial photos of, but I kind of forgot about it. Recently I was asked if I had any aerials of Stanley Pond. As I looked it up on Google Earth I realized that this was the pond I wanted to capture, so I thought now was the perfect time to check it out.
The area is nothing short of gorgeous, especially what you can see of it from 400'! I will be making a return during foliage season (which I can only hope is a good one)!

Back home from an Epic vacation in Florida, taking in all Universal Studios and Epcot had to offer! It’s never a relaxing vacation when we theme park it, but the fun to be had makes it worth it! Our final evening at Islands of Adventure concluded with catching the “Hogwarts Always” show projected on Hogwarts Castle! Disney and Universal night time shows are nothing short of spectacular! 😁

Yesterday I managed to stop by the area and capture some aerials of the Blues Festival happening at Friendship Park! It seemed like a pretty good crowd. Rustic Taps and Catering on hand was no doubt an excellent accompaniment to some great music! Who was there and who was your favorite to take the stage?
