Hi Lincoln friends!

I have a special request/offer for a house cleaner this Saturday.

A dear friend of mine (who has helped me out in the past) posted that one of her rentals was badly trashed along with thousands of dollars in unpaid rent. She is needing some help getting it cleaned up this weekend so that she can get it ready for new renters.

She isn’t a huge rental company.

She is a small, locally owned, female ran business and she could use our help!

Unfortunately I am photographing 2 weddings this weekend and am unable to help her myself *BUT* I would be HONORED to offer a huge free photography credit to any (insured) locally owned cleaning companies!

Hey loves… during this busy season, please remember to clean up after yourselves!

While photographing an engagement session tonight, I found this cute little pumpkin set up with a bunch of fake leaves spread all over.

I took the time to pick up the leaves, the fake stems and the tags that had been ripped off and tossed aside.

Have fun, be safe - but please don’t ruin it for the rest of us by leaving your trash behind ✌️

May this be your reminder to slow down… before the universe forces you to. 🤙🏻

While trying to wrangle my toddler off the stair banister this morning, I turned with him in my arms and the stairs evaporated beneath us.

We only fell about 4 or 5 stairs but my knee caught us… hard… square on the tile landing.

Little man hit the back of his head, but hasn’t let that slow him down. He’s already been cleared by the ER doc while mom waits for her Xray results.

Definitely a torn ligament but praying nothing broken 🤞🏻

Rest. And lots of ice. Perfect for all of the photo editing I’ll be doing this week.

There was not a single dry eye as the bride’s heartfelt surprise message filled the venue just moments before she made her way down the aisle. An unexpected love letter, beautifully delivered through the speakers, was waiting for her groom as he stood at the altar, unaware of the extraordinary sentiment about to unfold.

A deeply personal declaration of love, shared in the most unforgettable way. Intimate, elegant, and utterly breathtaking.

A truly remarkable moment that I had the honor to photograph on Saturday.

I’m finishing up another wedding gallery this week and it hit me…

2026 is slightly more than halfway over and so far this year I’ve photographed 15 weddings and elopements… and I have 17 more to go between now and November 14th 🤯

2026 may very well be my busiest wedding year of all time! Incredible!

Beyond grateful and blessed for this opportunity to follow my dreams and do what it is that I love so very much 📸✨

With that being said - my 2026 wedding calendar is officially closed for new *wedding* bookings.
