Featured Wedding | Kaylynn & Ali at Lucille’s Old Market 🤍 pt. 1

A little sneak peek into Kaylynn & Ali’s wedding at Lucille’s Old Market—and I’m already having a hard time choosing favorites.

There was something so effortlessly romantic about this day. The vintage details, the warm brick, the garden tucked away in the middle of Old Market, and two people who somehow made the whole thing feel like their own little world.

From the quiet moments getting ready to sneaking away for portraits, this day was full of the kind of in-between moments I love most.

The details were beautiful. The setting was incredible. But at the end of the day, it was the way these two looked at each other that made it.

Just as the sun was setting and before the night began, we stole a couple minutes to be alone and enjoy a dry ☔️ moment outside. The street lamps illuminated moments under the veil and the Omaha skyline was the perfect backdrop to reflect the city they fell in love in!

Featured Wedding | Kat & Chase at The Leo Ballroom ☔️

August 8th brought Kat & Chase a wedding day that looked a little different than anyone expected.

It rained. And then it rained some more.

An unexpected downpour all day long might not have been part of the original plan, but somehow, it made the day feel even more like theirs.

All jokes aside, I don’t think I could have imagined a better day for two of my favorite people. The weather did its thing, we rolled with it, and somehow the rain just became another part of the story.

There’s an old saying that rain on your wedding day is a sign of abundance, and I think there’s something pretty fitting about that for these two. Their day was full in all the best ways — full of people who love them, a packed dance floor, a lot of laughter, and so much genuine happiness.

And selfishly, getting to photograph this one meant a little more to me than usual. Kat & Chase are people I’m lucky enough to call close friends, so being trusted to document the day they officially became husband and wife was a pretty special honor. 🤍

Featured Wedding | Jennifer & Bryan at Big Grove Brewery 🍻

Today I’m sharing a glimpse into Jennifer & Bryan’s relaxed wedding reception at Big Grove—a celebration that traded expectations for authenticity and reminded everyone that the best weddings are the ones that feel like home.

I think we’ve been told that weddings have to be packed with traditions and timelines to be memorable.
But this day proved the opposite.

A brewery. Cold beer. Meaningful conversations. A few portraits in between. A room filled with people who were simply happy to be there.

No pressure to perform.

No trying to fit into someone else’s idea of what a wedding should look like.

Just a celebration that felt genuine from beginning to end.

🤍 Those are always the stories I love documenting the most.
