Today is graduation day for LPS. And all the other local schools have had or will be having their graduations soon. So, time to be thinking about the class of 2017 ! If you know of someone who will be a senior next year, now is not to soon to think about booking their senior portrait session. I would love to be your choice for photographers. Here are the sneak peeks of Koral McCracken senior portrait session a week ago. We had such a fun time along with her grandma Carol McCracken Massing. Koral is a beautiful girl inside and out and I enjoyed spending the afternoon with her.

Had an awesome senior portrait session with Koral McCracken and her grandma today. Can't wait to get through all the pictures and be able to show them to her. They are awesome. Koral is such a pretty girl inside and out and we had such a good time.

A few more of the portraits of Kelly and Joshua and their boys before Josh begins his chemo treatments. Bethany couldn't be here as she lives out of state. This is a beautiful family and I just love working with them. I was able to show Kelly the pictures today and she loved them. That is why I love what I do.

Last week Joshua found out he had cancer. He was to go to the hospital in Omaha today to find out about beginning treatments. So we did their family portraits yesterday. This one stopped me in my tracks. Kelly had wanted a portrait of them walking away from me holding hands as a family, walking down a path. As they were walking I asked them to stop and pause a moment. When I was looking at the pictures this one just grabbed me. As they are walking down the path God has placed them on, it appears to me that they are stopping as a family to pray in this image. They weren't, but that is how it appears. And the shadow casts a cross on Josh's back. I see that this is the cross God has asked Josh to carry. But Jesus already died on that cross for Josh, and bore that cross for him, and Josh is not carrying it alone. God is carrying it with him. This will be my favorite image in the whole group, even though there are a lot of good ones. I will be posting more later as I finish them.

I had the honor of taking portraits for Larry and Shirley Cripe for their posters and mailers for the concerts they give. We had a great time and they are a wonderful couple. If you have the opportunity to hear them in concert, you will be in for a treat.
