First concert for my boys! Gorillaz did not disappoint

The process.
Every project I photograph starts with the same question: what's the goal here?
Sometimes it's a crew wiring up a new streetlight on the side of the highway at sunrise. Sometimes it's guys leveling a manhole base downtown, or squaring up a form in a field that's about to become something entirely different. None of it looks glamorous in the moment — it's dust, tools, sweat, and a lot of problem-solving on the fly.
That's exactly what I want to capture. Not a staged shot of a finished product, but the actual work — the hands, the focus, the teamwork it takes to get something built right.
I've been lucky enough to spend time on job sites learning how these crews think, what they're solving for, and what their day actually looks like. Every company and every crew has a different story, and my job is just to help tell it.

G. Love & Special Sauce crushed it last night. The signage was perfect: Thug love and the Special Sauce. The last image was from circa 1999.

Location headshots hit different. I love my Lincoln studio, but shooting on-site at your business shows off your space, your team, and the energy you've built — it's a whole different kind of portrait. If your staff headshots need a refresh, comment or DM me and let's chat!

A little something a lot of people don't know: I also work with models and actors on headshots. If you're building a portfolio, you need a range — different smiles, poses, outfits. Happy to chat if that's on your radar.

If you don't know, I'm a huge soccer fan. Over the weekend, the stars aligned, and I was hired to photograph this weekend in KC. The energy in the stadium and city was unmatched. One of the coolest events I've been involved with. This is the summer to go create memories!

The Right Outfit Makes All the Difference
Your senior portraits should reflect you, and what you wear plays a huge role in bringing out your style and personality. Here are some tips to help you choose the perfect outfits for your session:
Variety is Key – Bring multiple outfits! A mix of casual, dressy, and personal style pieces gives you more options and allows us to capture different sides of your personality.
Flatter Your Complexion & Style – Choose colors that complement your skin tone and outfits that make you feel confident. Avoid overly busy patterns that can distract from you.
Match the Setting – Whether we’re shooting in the studio or outdoors, your outfit should complement the background and overall vibe. Soft, neutral tones work well in nature, while bold colors can pop in an urban setting. That being said I love to have a senior in a very formal outfit in either nature or urban settings. They stand out and the focus goes directly to them. Don’t get me wrong a formal studio portrait is nice but if you can make a statement it goes a long way in a portrait.

Spots are limited. Reserve yours today! What will look best? Bring extra outfits, and I’ll help you choose the perfect looks to match your style and the scene.
