i’ve been trying to get a photo of a Blue Jay for weeks now, but they’ve been evading my camera over and over again. between trying to nail focus against the bright blue sky, only having a few seconds before they fly away, and Maple tugging on her leash the entire time, it’s felt almost impossible. finally caught this one mid flight and then perched in a tree, and somehow still managed to keep it all in focus. definitely one of those moments that made all the waiting worth it. 💙
