Working on setting up next years trip to Tanzania. Details to be announced once they are established. Hopefully this will be done in the next few days. September 2024 travel dates. Start with a half day at Arusha National Park then on to the Mara River area of Serengeti followed by Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire.

I have finally stopped leading trips to Tanzania. My highly qualified daughter, Jenny Griggs Gegg, is starting to lead trips there and has fallen in love with East Africa. Great to be out on Maxwell again yesterday. When I am away I miss the prairies here. If we only had fewer fences, more acres and more wildlife... ...Imagine Maxwell’s 2800 acres with 10-20 species and maybe 800- 1000 animals roaming around out there. That is Serengeti except for shear size. Serengeti’s ecosystem is 6-8 times larger than Yellowstone. Imagine that for a few minutes.
