🌻 A BIG THANK YOU FROM THE SUNS FLOWER! 🌻

🌻As our sunflower season is over , Craig and I want to give a huge THANK YOU to all of the vendors, food trucks, coffee trucks and entertainers.

🌻A special thank you to the coffee trucks and vendors who answered our calls, worked us into their schedules, and came out to support us. We know everyone is busy, and we truly appreciate the ones who made the effort to be here. Whether you brought coffee, sweet treats, drinks, food, music, books, yoga, and henna, you added something special to our visitors’experience.

And we have to give a BIG shout-out to Dan Rice for jumping in and driving our wagon rides!You may not realize what a gift that was to us. That meant more to us than you know.

We have been busy cleaning the field out for the past couple of weeks, now we would like to take a few moments to thank some of our most important people ❤️

There are so many things our visitors never see that happen before and after the field opens each day. We see them. And we appreciate every single one of them.

To our family: thank you for believing in this crazy sunflower dream, for giving your time, your muscles, your patience and your love. 🌻

Another image from the Lightning and Sunflowers series I shared last week. Lightning contorts into some rather weird shapes while it's slashing across the sky. It's so interesting how the camera is quick enough to catch things we miss with our eyes. I am forever awed by the camera's ability to freeze time.

Overcast skies always make the best photos
This is proof

Is it wrong that I want to title this image "Electric Chair"? (Sorry)
Yesterday we made a trip to Western Ohio to visit The Sun's Flower. I was disappointed when we encountered overcast skies, but my disappointment switched to excitement when thunderstorms rolled through the area, filling the skies with spectacular lightning.
