We never go ALL out for Valentine’s Day. Zero expectations for this holiday. But we do celebrate it with lots of love because I’m all about the love. Today each of us are making 3 hearts for members in our family with sweet sayings on them. Later we will make heart cookies and dad will make a yummy dinner for us. It’s not fancy but it teaches our kids you don’t need to do fancy or spend lots of money on holidays. It’s just about acknowledging it and showing the kids that we love you always but today is just a little extra love. Doing the love stuff together shows them how to be when they are in future relationships and have kids of their own! I’m all about that. 😄

I had to make this meme because I posted about this in my Instagram story. Please don’t let the judgement of others hold you back from your true potential or who you really are. If you are on a different journey than others, then so what! I’m not here to judge your path. I want people to believe what they want, love who they want and be who they want. Our differences can define us but we don’t have to change others because they are different. This is where compassion and kindness come in. This is where love comes in. We aren’t here to change others even if certain books tell you that is what we are here for. Change comes from within and from wanting to grow and learn everyday. Change won’t happen if you are judging everyone else because they aren’t following your path. So can we please stop bully posting about religion, politics, vaccinations, science or naturalism etc.because we want others to be the same as you. It’s ok to be different. Embrace it :)

Nothing is more perfect than strawberries! When it comes to fruit that is! It even has the best name :) I love strawberries so much that when I lived in Maryland 22 years ago I had a strawberry wall paper border put up in my kitchen. 😂and I own a pink strawberry necklace that is still one of my favorites after 13 years of owning it. God’s most beautiful fruit!

This is happiness! Organic Nettle tea and my new plant Luna. She’s a croton and so beautiful!! I love herbs. One day soon I’ll show you my little apothecary but in the meantime the benefits of Nettle tea are ridiculous! Rich in potassium, magnesium, vitamin C, B, E and calcium. It’s a diuretic that flushes excess uric acid and is anti-inflammatory. So it’s great fir allergies! And it beautifies the skin and hair! Try drinking for two weeks straight and see and feel the benefits fir yourself!

Let’s talk self love. You can’t fill up anyone else’s tank unless you fill your tank first. It’s ok to be selfish in loving yourself first so that you then have the energy to love those around you. Please don’t be a martyr and sacrifice yourself for others. It’s not serving you I promise you. I see you and I love you. Now go take that lovely bath or walk in nature. Be with yourself so you can be with others. And buy yourself some rose quartz to carry around with you and to live in your space. It’s the perfect companion to support self love 💗 -
