For some grooms, seeing their bride for the first time walking down the aisle is a moment they’ve dreamed about their entire lives. For others, a first look gives them a private moment to actually take it all in, calm the nerves, and be present with each other.

There’s no “right” answer. Whatever you choose, make sure you’re choosing it because it feels right for YOU TWO — not because you feel like you’re supposed to.

They traveled all the way from Michigan to Hot Springs, Arkansas to get married—and I can’t think of a more beautiful place for them to have chosen.

Katie and Dylan said “I do” at Anthony Chapel, tucked into the woods of Garvan Woodland Gardens. With its soaring wood beams, walls of glass, and the trees surrounding you in every direction, it’s one of those places where you almost feel like you’re getting married outside—just without having to worry quite so much about what the weather decides to do.

Afterward, everyone headed to Chittum Event Center to celebrate, and the day became exactly what a destination wedding should be: not just a ceremony and a reception, but an experience shared with the people who traveled to be there with them.

I love that Katie and Dylan chose to come to Arkansas for this chapter of their story. Your wedding doesn’t have to happen where you live. It can happen in a place you fall in love with, a place that gives you the kind of day you actually want to have.

And if you’ve never considered Hot Springs for a destination wedding or intimate wedding weekend, you probably should. 🤍

Some wedding days feel like they were pulled straight from a storybook, and Sommer & Levi’s was one of them.

From their heartfelt ceremony tucked away in the beauty of Anthony Chapel to a reception beneath the Arkansas sky on family property, every part of the day was filled with meaning, love, and unforgettable moments.

Sommer was absolutely stunning in a dress that seemed made just for her, and every detail of the reception reflected the warmth and joy that surrounded these two. The laughter, the happy tears, the dance floor, and the love shared by family and friends made this a celebration we’ll never forget.

These two drove all the way from Illinois to Hot Springs for a fall elopement at Anthony Chapel, and honestly… it was pure magic.

The chapel was glowing with golden light, the trees were painted in peak fall color, and the leaves were gently falling around them as they exchanged vows. It felt like nature itself was celebrating with them. 🍂

Amber and Christian kept their day intimate, intentional, and beautifully simple—just the two of them, surrounded by glass, wood, and the quiet of the forest. Anthony Chapel is already breathtaking, but in the fall? Perfection.

Bella Terra’s gorgeous grounds and timeless architecture set the perfect backdrop for their classic blue-and-white details, soft florals, and elegant style.

Married at the always stunning Marlsgate Plantation — and honestly, I’m still not over this day.

These two have been together since they were kids, and you can feel that kind of history in every glance, every laugh, every quiet moment in between. They’re true soulmates… the kind of couple that reminds you why love stories matter.

Even the groomsmen were choking up during the ceremony (and trying REALLY hard to hide it 😭). The whole day was filled with so much love, so many deep friendships, and the sweetest support system surrounding them.

It was an absolute pleasure to document their story — every tear, every smile, every second they’ll get to relive for decades.

A timeless black-and-white wedding, surrounded by the people who love them most… it truly doesn’t get more meaningful than this.

Their day at Bella Terra Estates in Cabot, Arkansas was nothing short of incredible. Every moment felt intentional and heartfelt — from the emotional first looks coming down the aisle to the way their friends and family showed up in the most beautiful way. This was a celebration built on love, community, and connection.

And I have to brag on Bella Terra for a moment — Jennifer and Carter are truly some of the best venue owners in Arkansas. Their all-inclusive approach makes the entire experience seamless. From coordination to ex*****on, everything ran so smoothly, allowing Allison and Logan to simply be present and enjoy every second of their day. It makes such a difference when a venue team genuinely cares.

The elegant black-and-white theme, the joy, the laughter, the intentional details… it all came together perfectly. An unforgettable day for an unforgettable couple.
