kristyn + ashton got married this weekend at her family’s estate ♡

it was more special than i have words for right now. just a teeny tiny glimpse. already counting down the days (honestly the seconds) until the film scans come back!!!!!

i think the reason i love photography so much is because it lets me keep little pieces of my life forever :-)

the people i love.
the places i’ve been.
fleeting little moments that would’ve disappeared otherwise.

over time, all of those things started bleeding into the way i photograph weddings too.

i guess this is just a little glimpse into the world behind the camera.

engagement session on film for claudia + zach back in 2023 🎞️

been having so much fun lately looking back on all my film work (and work in general) - but especially film. it’s my absolute favorite and has taught me so much about my craft in the last few years. i still have so much to learn and that in itself is so exciting!!!!!

The art of noticing!!!!

My job is to notice. To observe. To document your day as it happens. Yes, we’ll make time for portraits (of course!!)

What you’ll remember though is your friend helping you get a lil stain out of your dress, hugging your dad & seeing your nieces and nephews. Catching up with your old friends who have come to see you off on this new chapter.

Those are the lil memories I want you to be able to hold on to. That’s my favorite part of photographing wedding days because these are the moments you’ll talk about and pull a photo to show your future children and grandchildren. It’s about preserving your human-ness with all the people you love in the same place at the same time!!! 🫶🏻
