Another year in the books with the Watsons. I'm so lucky to have had the opportunity to take pictures for this family when they were only a party of 3 with a 6-month-old baby Alton. I had no idea it would lead to me taking their photos 10-plus years later. I get to look forward to photographing my sweet friends every year.

The last few months have been insanely busy but in all the best ways. Now, I have to take the time to catch up on sharing all these beautiful moments. I’ve been so grateful for all of my clients this past year who have supported me and recommended my work to others. I know I’m not the best at posting regularly so to continually have people reaching out to book sessions because someone sent them my way is the biggest compliment. As summer comes to a close and fall makes its appearance I’m reflecting back to some of my favorite summer sessions. This one was extra special. These ladies wanted to celebrate each other being the best of cousins and the best of friends, their love of god, their closing of one chapter, and the opening of a new one. They will being attending different schools but will always have the support of each other. There’s really no better way to commemorate or celebrate an occasion like this. I love photography and the ability to capsulate a moment in time.

I interrupt your regularly scheduled fall sessions to show off the little cutie. All bright eyed and ready to soak in his new world. I know most people’s favorite newborn pictures are are those sleeping little cherub photos but mine are the bright eyed little butterballs. They are tiny little geniuses in the making just absorbing everything around them. I love getting to be the one that captures some of their first little moments. It’s such a privilege getting to be apart of each stage and watching these littles grow. It is my favorite part of what I do.

I have had the opportunity of capturing couples getting married, taking their maternity photos, and then meeting their newest little love and watching them grow year after year. I am so grateful 🥹.
