Oh nothin’ sweeter than summertime and American Honey☀️🇺🇸
This feels like one of those summers.
The kind we will remember in flashes years from now:
three growing babies, and a puppy that brings all of us so much joy daily and lots of laughter.

Somehow .rogers.photography captured the beauty hidden inside the chaos.

Not the perfectly posed kind of beauty, the real kind, the kind I wanted to be able to remember and see when I look back on this season of life for years to come.

Our life is wonderfully wild right now, and while some days leave me exhausted, I know these are the days I’ll miss most.

Huge congratulations to Brooke + Blake! They had the dreamiest wedding day ever. Yesterday truly was a once in a a lifetime experience at Mount Magazine! The weather was supposed to be storms all day long, instead we got endless breathtaking views from full thick fog during their ceremony, to the sky opening up for clear views for their family portraits, perfectly blue skies for their dances and then the most insane whisky foggy clouds for the prettiest sunset I have ever seen on the Mountain. God really had fun playing with the weather for us yesterday in the best way!

This year I am refining the experience I offer to all of my clients to create space to allow you to feel well cared for from your inquiry to long after your gallery is delivered. I have limited my mini sessions over the years as the demand for my services has grown, this year to pour even more into my full sessions and weddings I will be strictly limiting my mini sessions to the sessions my past clients want year after year. Booking is live for the first half of this year's mini sessions. There will not be any additional minis beyond this, so if you want one this is your chance! I will be really focusing on the details for these. They won't be your cookie cutter "every photographer offers this" type of minis. The details always matter to me and the experience even more. This year I will be adding interactive elements to my minis to make these even more special and unique!

Oh 2016….. my entire world changed in SO many ways in 2016.
~this trend is hitting me where it hurts the most 😭😅 deep in the heart~
The year that stretched me in ways I couldn’t have ever imagined possible.
The year I lost my person, my Papa. My go to. The man that quite literally loved me unconditionally like Jesus would while here on earth. He may have been my grandfather but he truly took on the roll of being an earthly father to me in the years I didn’t have one growing up, and well beyond that. When I struggled as a teen with who I was and made decisions from hurt places he always picked me up and told me he loved me through it. He was always the first call when I “messed up” to tell me I always had a home with him no matter what the circumstance. The person who taught me a faith in Jesus bigger than I’d ever seen. I quite literally watched him utter thank you Jesus as his final words and that changed me forever. In ways I didn’t even know were possible at the time. It stills hits me in new ways a decade later.

Also the year I became a Mama. Something I’d dreamt of being since I was a little girl. The biggest blessing of my life is being called Mama, mom, mommy, and sometimes “bruh” because we see a decade into this thing 😅 and I need to lighten this up a little (excuse me while I clear my throat 🤣)

A year I will NEVER forget. A year that will forever seem like yesterday as a mom, and a lifetime grieving someone I wish I could hug one more time ♥️💌
