Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderful day and surviving the terrors of 2020! This year has obviously been difficult for everyone, and I am no exception to that rule. (This is Christopher by the way)
First, I want to make it clear that this is a positive message coming from a place of excitement for the future of my business and life. I haven't always been the best at posting about my personal life on social media. But I want catch everyone up on the changes in my life.
I want to address the changes to my business first. Weddings by Christopher and Nancy was shut down to new clients at the very beginning of 2020. No new weddings were booked during the calendar year of 2020 under Weddings by Christopher and Nancy. I went through a separation and then a divorce just as 2020 began, and I've spent the year focusing on the weddings that were left for C&N which had already been booked in 2019. The few weddings that I did book in 2020 were booked under my new business, Christopher Nolan Photography.
This is where the exciting news comes in! I have been working to get everything together for my official name change and new business. When I started my business in 2009, Christopher Nolan Photography was the original name, so it's a little like going back to my roots. I'm excited to say that the website is up, and I have worked on changing the business name everywhere my business has listings, as well as removing the business info associated with Weddings by Christopher & Nancy in as many places as possible.
I am excited about moving forward, and I'm ready to take the next steps in both my new business and new life. Thank you all for the years of business and the many more to come!
