A few months ago I completely renovated my home office and made it a very cozy workspace that feels good to be in. Yes, it's July and the heat index is over 110 degrees in Little Rock but I had to turn the fireplace on for the photo... I'm experimenting and learning how to use this new Insta360 X5 action camera. I've not tried posting one of these yet so here's hoping you get the full experience and not just a weirdly distorted image.

Today was a beautiful day on the road. Had to do some stuff for a client up in Jonesboro. On the way back, I exited the hwy at Newport and wound back east through some county roads to locate this little country church... why? Because in 1971, fresh out of college my dad began his preaching career in that very building. He was there until I was born a few years later then we moved to North Little Rock. If I've EVER been to that church building before today I don't know about it and certainly don't remember it. Overall it's in pretty good shape considering it's no longer in use. Was really special to get to see it and photograph it for dad. I love what I do and the memories I'm allowed to capture!

Calling all parents (and future photographers)!

Summer day camps are such a lifesaver — kids get to have fun, stay active, make friends, and parents get peace of mind while they work. There are SO many camps out there… but for the last couple of years I’ve been kicking around the idea of doing something a little different:

A Photography Camp for Kids!

I already have curriculum ideas ready to go, and I’d love to build a camp where kids can learn photography, creativity, storytelling, nature photography, camera basics, and just have a blast making cool images together.

I’m looking at potentially offering this NEXT summer (Summer 2027), and this is my first “feeler” post to see if this is something parents and kiddos would actually be excited about! I’m thinking middle school age would probably be the sweet spot.

So tell me:

I’m not crying, you’re crying! Man oh man! How can we be here already! In just a few short weeks my little guy will be a middle schooler! All my friends with kiddos warned me it flies by! No kidding! I’m SO proud of this kid. He’s so kind and sweet! Quirky and funny! Very smart and creative! He’s gonna go a long way!
