In love with the pictures from our wedding day in September ✨ I am so lucky to have the best husband I could ask for. He is my biggest supporter and an amazing partner. Our wedding was the perfect day and exactly what we dreamed of!
Also, if you don’t know Kelsey from .andd.dusk, go follow her right now! I can tell you, without question, she is incredibly talented and amazingly kind. She is my number one recommendation as an elopement and wedding photographer! Please go support her and her business ❤️

Creativity is the art of growing 🌸
One thing I love is working with the same clients again and again. As we build our friendship, we also lean into our creativity together. I offer memberships for this exact reason! It allows me to not only create a single set of images that speaks to a client’s vision, but a whole series of them. Each time we work together, we find a better flow and the proof is in the photos!
I’ve loved working with several hours a month to create beautiful imagery for her brand. And every time we meet to shoot, we create something more magical than the time before! @ Denver, Colorado

Quarantine in Color 🌈 I’ve been leaning into more color in my photography work, which has pushed me to think outside of my usual box. If you’re wondering how to put together a colorful concept like this, here are a few tips:

1. Make an inspiration board ahead of time. This one is SO essential. When everyone has a shared vision, the whole thing comes together seamlessly.

2. Stick to second-hand. If you’re sourcing props, I beg you to check your local thrift stores first. There are so many second hand goods waiting to be given a new life. Plus you can find amazing vintage goods that are totally unique.

3. Stick to a color palette. Mix and match works best if you have a core set of colors to work off of. It allows things to feel eclectic without being busy.

4. Most importantly, find a good team! Creativity is amplified by collaboration. I always love working with for styling and as a model.

What ways are you adding color to your quarantine? ✨ @ studio ONE

New year, new motto: “Empowering beings, brands, and businesses with one-of-a-kind imagery and design.”
After a whole lot of soul searching, I’ve decided that my focus moving forward is going to be on brand, product and editorial photography. If you’re a maker, business owner, artist, model, influencer or creative (the list goes on), I can’t wait to help you build your brand and create one-of-a-kind imagery!
While I will no longer be accepting requests for family, maternity, weddings, or senior portraits, I am so grateful for those of you I’ve had the joy to work with over the last few years. I hope you’ll continue to follow along and find inspiration in the creative space I want to cultivate here.
Hooray for new beginnings! I can’t wait to see what this year brings!

I took some time off recently to really reflect on this year and my priorities for 2021. I realized that there are so many pieces of me, so many things that I care about. But I found myself feeling a bit divided and worn down, with life pulling me in so many directions. This coming year, it is my goal to invest solely in those things that bring me joy and to prioritize myself, my family and my friends along with my business goals. It can be so hard to find that balance, but I think it’s worth giving it a shot. Stay tuned for some changes for Flynn Design Co. over the next few weeks.
Also, I got super artsy with this image and was a little nervous to post it, but I’ve decided that part of pursuing joy is caring less about things like “likes”. So here’s a super out-there self portrait, and a million happy wishes to all of you, on the final day of the weirdest year ever! ✨

Relaxed, refreshed, recharged ✨ I had the luxury of taking off a little time off this past week, and boy did it feel good to have two full days without work. I also reflected on my business goals, and I’ve made some exciting decisions about Flynn Design Co. in 2021. I can’t wait to share more with you as we get closer to the new year! 🙌🏼 I hope you all enjoyed your holiday, even during these strange times!

Finally almost caught up on all my galleries from the busiest fall I’ve ever had! Going into this Thanksgiving week feeling so thankful for my clients and creative partners. And I’m always especially thankful for my support system that gets me through the long nights of editing and weekends/weeknights spent working. A special shout out to my husband, Danial, who is my biggest cheerleader. Who are you thankful for this week? Don’t forget to let them know how much you appreciate them ✨

Who else is on an emotional rollercoaster this month? Some days I’m walking on sunshine and the next I’m nursing a massive headache. Other days I feel like I could fall over, and then find myself feeling totally empowered. So I’m giving into it, and not letting the bad days ruin the ones full of light ✨ And speaking of light, I am so grateful to have creative friends like that will help me pull together a last minute sunset shoot to take advantage of some of the last good weather this year. @ The Hudson Gardens & Event Center

Halloween, but make it fashion 🕷
I am not lying when I tell you that we had about *sixty* feet of tulle out in an open field to get these shots. I am positive everyone that drove by was totally confused by the scene, but there is no shame in the photoshoot game! Seriously, every time I’m out working, I tell myself to create like no one is watching. To get creative, we have to get uncomfortable. A big shoutout to Vikki and Kay, for getting out of the comfort zone with me! ✨ @ Denver, Colorado
