Nomination: Bishop Jackson Ready for takeoff! Senior from Lafayette High School, Bishop has been accepted to Embry - Riddle Aeronautical University to pursue his dream of becoming a pilot. His ambition and discipline is inspiring. A gentleman through and through, greeting all with a smile and handshake. A true pleasure to be around, Bishop embodies respect and kindness. Smart and regimented, he balances his academics with community service in his one red light town. His determination shows that dreams are achievable with hard work. He’s not just preparing to soar in the skies; he’s lifting everyone around him along the way.
What inspiring things about you does your nomination not cover?
Living on a 100 - year old family farm has deeply influenced me. Working the land is more than a duty; its a commitment to preserving my family's legacy. At 18, I feel a strong responsibility to maintian and nurture this land for future generations.
What else would you like to talk about?
I want my story to reach other teens and encourage them to be the best they can be. We all have leadership potential in different areas of life, and with the rapidly changing times, especially with social media and AI, it's crucial to stay inspired.
What do you feel passionate about or could talk about forever?
I'm passionate about traveling to new places, especially by airplane. I also have a love for cars and enjoy the thrill of driving fast when I get the chance. Additionally, I'm passionate about flying drones.
How did you find your photographer? What was your experience like? What did you love most?
I found my photographer, Tammy, by chance, and it turned out to be a great experience. Whenever I proposed a photo idea, she took it seriously. She was incredibly patient, creative, and calm, which made our session enjoyable.
Why do you want to be in Inspiring Teens Magazine?
I want my story to reach other teens and inspire them to be their best. By sharing my experience and journey, I hope they see that everyone has leadership potential. Everyone has challenges but it is important to keep fighting for your goals.
What is a favorite memory with or thoughts of the person who nominated you?
I had a certian picture that I wanted and told her about it when we first met. Later when we were finished and I was talking to the pilot of the plane, she waited for a while to make sure I got the picture that I had suggested earlier.
