hey hey, just jumping into your feed after an unintentional 15 day posting hiatus 🙈 has anybody else been in a slump recently? maybe it has a little something to do with the absolutely wild times we're currently living in!? whatever it is, let's all agree that anxiety + depression is so real and doing whatever is necessary to help yourself through those is a-okay! an anxious weight on my shoulders has been heavyyyyy this past week, so after posting this I will be unplugging from my phone, heading outside for fresh air and enjoying the rest of my evening decompressing.
side note, how pretty is Jamie + her pickup!? this was her truck that she drove in high school, and her dad surprised her by getting it going to drive to their first look together 🤩😭 my heart was so full in that moment for two special reasons: Jamie mentioned that her dad was a mechanic and that he loved racing, that sounded a heck of a lot like my dad (he raced cars + boats his whole life, and was always working on something cool - and almost all of those times, I was with him) and as soon as her dad drove up in this beaut, all I could think of was my papa because he has almost the exact same truck (that my dad painted for him at his body shop). Little things like this that allow me to truly connect with people, especially clients, make me so dang happy!
