Who wants Fall Family Minis? šŸ‚

I recently updated my family session pricing, but I also know that for some families, a full session just isn’t in the budget right now or they prefer a shorter experience because they don’t want as many photos. Because of that, I’m thinking about offering a limited number of fall mini sessions as a more affordable option.

Mini sessions allow me to offer a special rate because I’ll be photographing multiple families back-to-back at one beautiful location. While you won’t have the flexibility of choosing your own location or having as much time as a full session, they’re perfect if you’re looking to update your family photos for the season, holiday cards, or your walls at home.

If this is something you’d be interested in, let me know in the comments! If there’s enough interest, I’ll get everything planned and announce the details soon.

Your senior photos should feel like a time capsule.
Not just what you looked like, but who you were. The laugh you couldn't hold back. Your favorite outfit. The way you wore your hair. The confidence you were growing into.
My goal isn't to make you look like someone else. It's to create photographs that your future self will look back on and immediately remember exactly what this season of life felt like.

This is exactly why I love storytelling over "just taking pretty pictures."

Instead of forcing them into a location that looked pretty but meant nothing to them, we built the session around something that's already part of their life together.

Years from now, these photos won't just remind them what they looked like.
They'll remind them how this season of life felt.
That's the kind of story I want every gallery to tell.

A little secret for anyone getting married at The Vault... šŸ¤
Since it's one of my closest venues, I actually offer special pricing for couples getting married there.
Less travel means more flexibility for me, and I love passing those savings along whenever I can.
If you've booked (or are considering) The Vault and love documentary storytelling with timeless, true-to-color images, I'd love to chat with you.
Your venue is already beautiful, let's make sure your gallery tells the story it deserves.

One of my favorite things about photographing seniors is getting to dream up something that feels completely them.

When people inquire, they usually send me some vague inspo and then ask where we should take photos, and I always smile because I have a running list of locations that most people would never even think to use. Parking garages. Alleyways. Rooftops. Hidden courtyards. Tiny pockets of beautiful light tucked into places you'd drive past every day.

*I need your input!*

I’ve been toying with the idea of adding a boys senior group next year!

Let’s be honest… I don’t think structuring it the same way as my girls’ senior program makes much sense. Most guys aren’t exactly excited about six photo shoots a year. šŸ˜‚ But I know their mamas still want this season documented, and I’d love to create something that’s actually fun for them.

Here’s what I’m thinking:
• 3 total sessions
• 1 group shoot
• 2 individual sessions (one in the fall and one in the spring)

I’d also have Adam heavily involved in this group. I think having another guy there would make the experience feel a lot more natural and relaxed, and since we’re already a husband-and-wife team, we’d both be there to help make the sessions fun and easy as well as having his creative input.

I’d keep it small, I’d need a minimum of 5 boys to make it happen, and I’d probably cap it at 6 or 7.

Right now I’m just putting out feelers. If you have a son graduating next year and this sounds like something he’d actually enjoy, let me know in the comments or send me a message! I’d love to see if there’s enough interest to make it happen.

If you ever look over during the last hour of your reception and see Adam and me running around collecting half-eaten cake, empty champagne glasses, beer cans, party favors, or handfuls of confetti... don't worry, we've completely lost our minds. šŸ˜‚
Okay... maybe just a little.
One of my favorite things to create at the end of the night is a reception flat lay. We gather all of the little pieces that tell the story of how the celebration unfolded, the champagne that was toasted, the cake that was enjoyed, the confetti that covered the dance floor, the matchbooks, cocktail napkins, favors, and all the little details that would otherwise disappear once the night is over.
It's one last way to preserve the atmosphere of your wedding day.
Those photos aren't staged to create a fake moment, they're made from the real remnants of one incredible celebration. Every empty glass, wrinkled napkin, and piece of confetti was actually part of your wedding.
So yes... if we ask to borrow your empty beer can for 30 seconds, we promise there's a reason. šŸ¤āœØ

Hey guys! šŸ¤ Just a friendly reminder that I typically book 2–3 months out, especially for weekend sessions. If you know you’ll need photos by a certain date or have something time-sensitive coming up, please don’t wait to get on the schedule!

I’m so incredibly grateful to be booked and busy, but I honestly hate when returning clients reach out and I don’t have room because my calendar is already full. I’d much rather get something penciled in early than have to tell you no later.

If you’ve been dreaming up a session, send me a message sooner rather than later so we can make sure we find a spot that works. I can’t wait to create something beautiful with you! šŸ¤
