The Tsuchinshan-Atlas comet from earlier in the week at the Devil's Doorway. It was unreal seeing the comet with one of Wisconsin's most iconic rock formations.

The second I found out there was going to be a comet in the western sky last night I knew what I was going to be doing. I've been wanting to take a shot like this for a very long time and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

I made the drive over to Lake Michigan on Tuesday night to catch the sunset at Kohler-Andrae State Park. The weather was perfect and there were only a couple other people in the entire park, so it felt like I had the place all to myself. On the way back to the car I saw at least a dozen deer in the course of 15 minutes. What a magical evening.
