There is just something so special about a brand new baby. 🤍

Those tiny fingers and toes, sleepy little faces, and all of those perfect newborn details that change much too quickly. This sweet little guy slept his way through most of his session and even let us have a little fun with the fishing setup. 💙

These are the photographs that become more precious with every passing year. One day, it will be hard to believe they were ever this tiny.

How did we get to KINDERGARTEN already?! 🍎📚✏️

I've been photographing sweet Nae'via since she was still in her mama's tummy, and now she's sitting in front of my camera for her kindergarten pictures!

One of the greatest gifts of doing this for so many years is getting to watch my little clients grow. From maternity pictures, to babies, to toddlers... and somehow, before I know it, they're heading off to school.

Nae'via has grown into such a sweet, fun little girl with the BEST smile, and I absolutely loved capturing this big milestone for her.

Some sessions hit my heart a little differently. This was one of them.❤️

Trinity is 10 years old. TEN.

I’ve been photographing this sweet girl since she was just a baby, and somehow, all these years have passed right in front of my camera. I’ve watched her grow from a tiny little girl into the beautiful, kind young lady standing in these photographs.

There are certain children who come through my studio over the years who become more than clients. You watch them grow. You celebrate their milestones. You get to know their personalities and their families. And without even realizing it, they find a little place in your heart.

Trinity is one of those kids for me. ❤️

And this year, her birthday pictures were even more special because she has a brand new baby brother. Of course she wanted him in some of her pictures. Watching the little girl I've photographed since she was a baby cradle this tiny new baby in her arms was one of those full-circle moments that gets me.

Someday, he’ll look at these pictures and see just how much his big sister adored him from the very beginning.

Happy 10th birthday, Trinity. 🌸 I hope you always know just how special you are. It has been such a privilege to watch you grow up through my lens, and I’m so grateful your family has trusted me with these memories all these years.

🍎✏️ Back to School with NovaLee & RaeLynn! 📚🎒

These two are off to new adventures! NovaLee is headed to KINDERGARTEN and little sister RaeLynn has started PRESCHOOL! ❤️

I absolutely LOVE photographing these girls. Their crazy, silly, larger-than-life personalities make every session an adventure. I’m pretty sure we spend more time laughing and being ridiculous than we actually spend taking pictures... and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

That’s one of my favorite things about photographing kids. I don’t need perfectly posed and perfectly behaved. Give me the giggles, the silliness, the goofy faces and all that personality. That’s who they are right now, and that’s what I want to remember!

Brooke | Class of 2027 🎓

This one feels a little extra special. ❤️

I’ve had the privilege of photographing Brooke since she was just a toddler, and somehow here we are taking her SENIOR pictures! Where does the time go?!

From photographing that sweet little girl all those years ago to following this beautiful young woman through the woods and literally wading through the creek to get the perfect shot! This is one of the things I love most about what I do.

Brooke was up for anything, and these photos were SO much fun to create. The creek, the woods, those gorgeous curls, that smile… she absolutely rocked her session! 😍

Watching the little ones I photographed years ago grow up and then getting to capture milestones like this is such an incredible honor.

Congratulations on your senior year, Brooke! Thank you for letting Small Fries Photography be there to capture so many pieces of your story along the way.

🌻 Sunshine, smiles & sweet memories! 🌻

I had so much fun with this beautiful family in the sunflower field! From that absolutely contagious little smile, to the sweetest mama-and-baby moments, to celebrating a new little one on the way — there was so much love to capture. 💛

And can we talk about that piano tucked among the sunflowers?!

We even managed to get ourselves lost in the sunflower maze along the way. 🌻 I guess that’s all part of the adventure!

Sunflower season never lasts long, but the memories certainly will.

Brothers Kaleb and Benny celebrate their birthdays just ONE day apart.... Kaleb is turning 18 and Benny is turning 4!

I think some of the sweetest sibling relationships are the ones with a big age gap... and I speak from experience! ❤️ There’s something so special about the bond between a big brother and his much-littler brother.

And I have to give a shoutout to their proud mama, too! ❤️ She has raised two pretty awesome boys, and it’s always such a joy to have this family in front of my camera. You can see how much love there is between all three of them.
