Working with kids & babies has taught us to take our time, go with the flow, and to PLAY! We go into every interaction with your little ones with realistic expectations, auntie bribery, & the mindset of a journalistic approach. We follow the vibes of the kids and usually magic happens. The "insta-worthy" shots are usually lightly prompted or comnpletely organic things that have happened in the moment. We love the silliness of childhood & we realize that kids are meant for many things & sitting still is not one of them! 😂🩷😍

Some of our favorite moments of the wedding day center around details and loved ones. Noticing moments that pass by in a blink, capturing them forever, & honoring them for the art that they are is a huge part of our work. We are fast and observant and in the moment with you.

It’s so important to hire vendors that really appreciate the art of noticing. This isn’t just about us or photography-it goes for florals, venue, catering, bartending, dress shops, hair and makeup, tuxes, entertainment, and even bakers. This sounds so simple, but it is truly everything. Hiring a vendor team that can capture the essence of your wedding is different than hiring one that can just capture your wedding. We hope you choose us, because we relish in moments like these. These are the moments that you can relive by revisiting the photos. These moments are what make all the stress of planning a wedding so beyond worth it.

Every session asks something different of us. Some ask us to anticipate fleeting moments. Some ask us to tell a family’s story. Some ask us to celebrate milestones or preserve memories that will only happen once.

And every once in a while, a session asks us to simply make art.

This shoot with Claire stretched a different creative muscle. It pushed us to slow down, experiment, trust our instincts, and chase a feeling instead of a formula. She brought so much grace, strength, and emotion to every frame- an inspiration and reminder to keep the creative fire burning.

Here’s to making art, staying curious, and never stopping the pursuit of creating something that makes people feel.

An ode to Mr. & Mrs. Grove.

Elly & Jeremy- thank you so much for choosing us to photograph your perfect wedding day. We had a blast celebrating these two and their beautiful love story! What a perfect day full of fun, color, & the most fun bridal party. Not to mention the sweetest couple who is enamored with one another. We’re so lucky to celebrate at such gorgeous venues & work with such wonderful businesses. We love these two & cant wait to see where their future takes them!

We have recently learned that happiness is a baby bunny. This is Moxie aka BunBun aka Momo aka the newest DGP furbaby. (Technically she is Britt's daughter's bunny, but we are completely in love with her!) She enjoys hopping & ninja kicking, eating hay & clover, frozen water bottles, and snuggles. She is a tiny angel & we love her. Also she is currently inside because of the heat- don't worry she is spoiled!

Caroline & Thomas have been doing life together since they were 15 years old. There is much to be said about growing up together & loving your person through everything since you were kids. So many beautiful moments & years have lead to their upcoming wedding. We cannot wait to celebrate their forever love's newest adventure- marriage!
