This is going to be fire!

This is Remco Evenepol. He’s from Belgium. He is the current Olympic and World Champion in the individual time trial in professional cycling world. The TT is when the riders race against the clock one at a time and not against each other.

Today he won the individual TT stage (16) of this year’s Tour de France. (There are even team TT stages from time to time. This year there was a TTT for stage 1 in Barcelona.) Remco won his second consecutive stage of the TdF and ate about 30 seconds into the yellow jersey/race leader Tadej Pogacar’s lead.

Tadej will be tough to beat. There are some big mountains and the final stage in Paris left. Remco seems to be peaking at the right time of the three-week event.

Today, and earlier this week two podium contenders crashed out of the race.

This is my friend Kelly Tomasello.She is an artist and an art teacher a Starpoint High School in Niagara County. She's a teacher's teacher. Her students love her. She is very active and involved in her school community and culture.

She shares a studio in Buffalo with her husband and other local artists called Untitled Studio. Her specialty is ceramics and sculpture. You can learn more about her and see her work on her website www.kellytomasello.com

She is currently working on a massive project in which she is casting people's faces. She is looking to do around 100 castings. She is not quite sure what the final product will look like, but for right now she is enjoying the journey. She is connecting and reconnecting with people while she puts all sorts of goop on their faces.

In the corner of her studio there is a giant face made of cardboard and lasers. This untitled piece was inspired by the ribs of older canoes. It is stunning to look at.

In addition to all of the above, Kelly is a great human being.
