🤍 Big Update 🤍

I have some pretty big changes coming, both personally and with my photography business.

My family and I are moving to the Portsmouth Ohio area within the next week or so which will put me about an hour and a half away from where I currently live and do most of my sessions here in Logan and surrounding areas.

I know this is going to change things a little with how I schedule and take sessions, but I want everyone to know that I’m not completely stepping away from this area. I’ll still be traveling back up for sessions when I can, I’ll just have to plan my dates a little differently than I have in the past.

If you already have a session booked with me, nothing is changing for you. Your session will still happen as planned! 🤍

For future sessions that require me to travel back up this way, my travel fee will be $35 to help cover the extra time, mileage, and gas.

I’ll probably be taking on fewer sessions up this way moving forward, but please don’t be afraid to still reach out and book with me! If you have a date in mind, send me a message and we can see what we can work out. 🫶🏼

This move is definitely bittersweet for me. I’ve met so many amazing people through this journey and I’m so thankful for every person who has trusted me to capture their families, milestones, and memories. You’ve helped me grow this little business into something I genuinely love 🥹🤍

I’m excited to see what this next chapter brings and to start building my business around Portsmouth while still getting to come back and see all of you.

Just a little update, I know it's a lot 🤍

Moving forward, I’m going to be putting a lot more focus into my paid sessions and I may even stop offering minis altogether.

Lately, it’s been really discouraging. I’ll have people tell me they’re interested in a mini session or a certain setup, so I put the time, money, and effort into planning it, only to open bookings and have little to no one actually book. I’ve also had people show interest in free sessions and then ghost or stop responding.

It honestly makes me feel like a lot of the support only comes when I’m offering something for free. Don't get me wrong I completely understand that not everyone can afford professional photos, and I’m not expecting everyone to book with me. But I also have to start valuing my own time, money, and work.

I’ll still occasionally do a free giveaway because I genuinely enjoy giving back, but they will be much less frequent. As for minis, I may eventually stop offering them altogether if the interest continues to not turn into actual bookings.

I want to make it clear that this decision is based solely on what I feel is best for my business moving forward. There’s no hard feelings toward anyone, but I have to start making decisions that make sense for me, my time, and the growth of my business. 🤍

One more thing: if you claim a spot, express serious interest in booking, or start communicating with me about a session and then completely ghost me or stop responding without explanation, I will no longer be doing business with you in the future. I completely understand if plans change or something comes up, just communicate with me. I’m always willing to work with people when there’s communication and respect for my time as I respect yours.

I’m so grateful for everyone who supports my business by booking, sharing my work, recommending me, or even just interacting with my posts. It truly means more than you know. 🫶🏻
