I spent an afternoon at The Aquarium of the Pacific and got to be the National Geographic photographer that I thought I wanted to be at one point in my photography career.

Some of you might not know this but a few months ago, I had a tiktok go viral 🫣

It’s just a silly video I made about my sister being late to her maternity session and it had 80k likes in 72 hours. It took me by a huge surprise and it has over 2 million views today.

Like any viral post on the internet it saw love, it saw hate, it saw appreciation - which I am grateful for all these things but mostly that it got my work in front of so many new eyes.

From that TikTok, I had a lot of inquiries, bookings, other photographers asking me for my camera settings, if they could shadow my sessions and for my presets (which I don’t use, I literally edit every session based on the vibe, the mood, the weather) and while that video definitely lost momentum for a while, it’s picking back up on the algorithm so I wanted to share some full frames of my first client who booked from that TikTok.

It was a busy day in Laguna when we took these but I’m so blessed to be trusted by repeat clients and new clients who have never even had professional photographs taken before.

The internet is an interesting place, but it’s a space for all of us to share and connect and I hope my art reaches the right people, always because this is what I have to offer the world.

I’m ready to take up space, to share my gifts, to document love stories in all forms, and to help people see their own beauty that they have to offer this world too.
