Abigail Thomas Photography was founded with the goal of making great photography – and the printed heirlooms that bring digital photography to life – something families can enjoy for generations. My style is a mix of "on-camera" shots (smiling and looking at the camera…perfect for holiday card pics) and what I call slice-of-life. Slice-of-life is a more natural, photojournalistic approach, where I
let children and parents just BE. Acting more like a casual observer, I'm able to capture the beauty of relationships and the tiny details of the moment as my eye sees it unfolding. Often referred to as "the photography ninja", my style is very hands-on…and when working with children I have no problem embarrassing myself with silly antics to pull out real, genuine, happy-eyed smiles. Photo sessions are fun, relaxed, and pressure-free...and so is the ordering process after. Clients are given as much time as they need to review proofs, and there is never a print minimum. I'm always happy to answer questions, share samples, and hear your ideas on how to best capture your family's memories.
