Think beach portraits are just for summer? Think again. šŸ¤

In fact, fall might be one of the BEST times of year for beach photos. āœØ

The crowds start to thin out, the temperatures become more comfortable, and that thick summer humidity and haze finally start to disappearā€”giving us those crisp, dreamy coastal skies and gorgeous light that make beach portraits absolutely glow. šŸ“ø

And letā€™s be honestā€¦ thereā€™s something extra beautiful about the beach in the fall. šŸŒ¾šŸŒŠ

And now, somehow, Iā€™m getting to capture an entirely new and even more precious chapter, their sweet daughterā€™s FIRST birthday! šŸŽ‚šŸŽ€

Thereā€™s something so special about being invited back into a familyā€™s life to document these milestones as their family grows. Getting to watch their love story continue and now photograph the little girl who came from that love is an honor I donā€™t take for granted. šŸ¤

These moments may feel ordinary right now, but one day theyā€™ll be the photographs they treasure mostā€”the sandy toes, the big hugs, the little personalities, and the people who made childhood so special.

Many of you know I got engaged in May. We are starting to plan and need help šŸ„°
We def want to keep things small, more of a micro wedding and are even open to doing a week day because weekends are very busy.

I have a ton of vendors I adore but if youā€™re a vendor that loves smaller/week day weddings, please feel free to comment below. No bridal party. No big fuss. Just fun and an environment for our families to make awesome memories.

It was such a joy to see this sweet family again! šŸ¤

I had the honor of photographing Kelsey & Dennis' wedding a few years ago. Since then, Iā€™ve been lucky enough to capture so many special milestonesā€”from maternity and newborn photos with their first baby to now family photos with their newest little one.

Getting to watch families grow and preserving these moments year after year is one of the greatest gifts of this job. And can we just take a moment to appreciate how absolutely beautiful this family is? Their newest addition is beyond adorable, and it was such a privilege to capture this season for them.

This is my best friend, Amber, and her sweet girl, Dolly. šŸ¶šŸ’•

Amber and I have been best friends for more than 20 years, and for the last 13 of those, Dolly has been right there alongside us.

Iā€™ll never forget the day we met her at our local humane society. She was sitting in an outdoor kennel, and the second Amber saw her, it was love at first sight. From that moment on, they were inseparable. If you know Amber, you know Dolly. Itā€™s honestly rare to see one without the other.

A few weeks ago, Dolly was diagnosed with some medical issues. While sheā€™s doing well, it was a reminder of just how important it is to preserve the moments that matter. I asked Amber if I could have the honor of photographing the two of them together so sheā€™d always have these memories to hold onto.

Iā€™m praying Dolly has many more happy years ahead of her, but Iā€™m incredibly grateful that no matter what the future holds, Amber will always have these images to remind her of the unconditional love they share.

These are so much more than photographs. Theyā€™re a piece of their story, frozen in time. šŸ„¹šŸ’•
