Some love stories deserve a little more than ordinary. 🤍

A sailboat, the Columbia River Gorge, the kind of sunset you couldn’t have planned if you tried, and two people who are so ridiculously happy together.

And yes, the dog came too. 🥹

THIS is what I love about engagement sessions. They don’t have to look like everyone else’s. They can be an adventure, a place that means something to you, or just an evening spent doing something you love with your favorite person.

The best photos happen when you forget you’re having your picture taken and just enjoy being together.

And I promise, those are the ones you’ll love forever.

We met working a wedding at Highland Farms and immediately hit it off. Somewhere in the middle of the day, she mentioned needing family photos—and when she reached out shortly after, I was so excited! 🥹

Getting to meet the rest of her family made it even better. The sweetest people, and such a good reminder of why I love what I do. A wedding brings someone into my life, and then I get to photograph a little piece of theirs. 🤍

I love the beautiful portraits, obviously. But her reaching for his face, the wedding party cheering them on, everyone gathered around as the sun goes down? Those are the photos that bring you right back.

A little romance, a little party, and so many people you love in one place. My kind of wedding.

Some wedding days just have everything. 🤍

The mountains, the lavender, the orchard, the flowers, the people you love all in one place… and somehow Olivia + Erik made it feel even better than it looked.

I loved this day. I loved these two. And I would photograph a summer wedding at The Orchard over and over and over again.
