One month ago today I lost the love of my life. ALS is the cruelest disease I have ever witnessed. Keith was a military veteran and here’s a fact, military veterans are twice as likely to be diagnosed with ALS the non-military. My heart is broken into a million pieces. I’m gonna take a little bit of a break from my photography but when I’m ready, I’ll be back. Much love, JoAnn

It’s been brought to my attention that people are thinking I’m not doing photography anymore. That’s not the case. I’ve put photographing weddings on the back burner for now. I’m still doing family portraits, graduation pictures, engagement photos and child portraits. I chose to put the wedding photography on hold because I am taking care of my husband who was diagnosed on June 11th, 2024 with Bulbar Onset ALS. He’s my world. It’s one day at a time.
