but somehow become the steady hands holding everything together.

The protectors at the door before bedtime walks.
The ones carrying sleepy paws to bed after a long day. The quiet figures behind the photos, behind the counters, behind the moments—
loving with a softness that asks for nothing in return.

Your love lives in the smallest rituals:
the filled water bowls, the patient waiting, the late-night worries, the safe drives home, the way you instinctively reach for the leash before anyone else does.
